I haven't been able to get out and take photos lately, so I'm falling back on some old shots. Hope you don't mind.This picture was taken on Highway 178 near Onyx, CA. I love the Joshua Trees. We don't have them on the desert floor (where I live), but once you hit about 4,000 feet heading up the Southern Sierras towards Lake Isabella, you start to run into thousands of them.
