There is a large group of ducks, mostly mallard that spend the winter on the lake and river that feeds it.They're used to people and being fed by humans through the winter.
If you have cracked corn it's usually easy to get some close shots with the camera.
They were more skittish than usual so I didn't get the detail shots I was looking for with the 105.
