every other week i provide photos for a local newspaper columnist.

as LUCK would have it...this week happens to be "bee week". i've been putting it off because you see, i'm somewhat allergic to bees.

hoping to stave off that assignement just a little longer, i checked this site for the challenge this morning and saw it was flowers. hmmm? as LUCK would have it...they are my favorite thing to photograph.

cool. so, having a mission, i set off in search of one or the other. ...as LUCK would have it...i think i found both.

this may be the only post i get to make on this challenge. you see...as LUCK would have it... most of my flowers look like this.

when i can find a blossom, i like to shoot in super macro so i can look inside.

it's hot here already today and now in the middle of a drought, in the center of texas. ...as LUCK would have it... i have a tropical storm making a beeline towards me.
