The lake.

  MsQ and I took a mini vacation to the north shore of Minnesota – the shore of Lake Superior.  While there, we had beautiful weather. The lake was cooperating in showing off its charms. We experienced the lake from calm, to a little rough.

We didn’t get to see any really, really rough water (the waves can reach a max of thirty feet – no thank you for us!)

This spit of land turned out to be my favorite photographic object. The wave coming up against it created quite a show, and it worked out well for a quick spot to shoot this sundown.

From shore you could watch the ships go up and down from port.

Just watching the skyline you could almost see forever (double panorama.) This was the nearby harbor town. Waves splashing on what they call a beach.
