Another post from my "Back Country Series" of photos with the painted effect. I have titled it "Alone" as that the look on the Cowboys face to me. I imagine at times it was a very lonely job being a Cowboy and you might go days if not weeks without seeing another person. Alone

  • How I wish I could be alone! In L.A. not possible...Wonderful!

  • Excellent!  About the only thing I saw I didn't like about it was the small bush on the right edge, and that is a minor thing.

Fantastic.  This series of your work reminds me of a line of greeting cards we have at the flower shop from Leaning Tree.  But your shots are better!!!  You do great work

  • Great as usual man!

...But are you sure you just want pictures of your friend for your book? I'd also go for cowboy related stuff retouched in the same fashon: close ups of a saddle and cowboy tools, wild horses, coyotes... stuff like that... even a 'cliche' sunset would work, why not? If you really want to get fancy you can look for thater props and get an old colt somewhere...

I am ready to see variations on the theme!
