I love to take shots of the bridge.  I won a best of with a shot of it.  Well we just got back today from a weekend in Mackinaw City.  I had to get more pics of the bridge.  I loved the clouds that day.  Mind you these are as we are driving over the bridge so there can't be any "I would like to see another angle...."  I took what I could get.  There is NO STOPPING on the bridge.  These are my favorites of the shots I got on the bridge of the bridge.

If you do not know about the bridge here is a link to tell the history.  It is very interesting.  http://www.mackinacbridge.org/    If you don't want to read just look at the pics.

  • I like the first and second sets best but I have a hard time choosing between color and B&W.  The B&W has an amazing pop to it but I like the richness of the color.  I've always liked your shots of this bridge.  Looks like a great place.

Smalls I wasn't going to post them but I had to when I saw the clouds.  How could I resist?

  • What kills me is that I tried this with a bridge in Wales that is just phenomenal and got squat.  But give me a little sympathy--I was driving and I was driving on the left side of the road.

  • Way to go Penny!! ... The first one in color is head and shoulders above the rest mainly due to the angle that just draws you in!! ... Just can't get into the B & W images ... nothing to do with your images - It's just me ... Well Done!!

  • I'm with Stan - the first one, great angle, and love the clouds in backdrop. I think much is lost in the b&w without the blue sky to accentuate the gray bridge. Hope you were riding, not driving . . . . :-)

  • Great shots! - especially while moving. A good time to shoot Big Mac would be on the Labor Day walk.

I Never look up while crossing the Big Mac - cuz it makes me dizzy. LOL

Great cloud formations - don't care for the B&W's.

You did a great job with those shots, especially considering you were moving! I prefer the b&w versions personally, they just stand out to me.
