Shooting a flying bird is tougher than I thought, you have to adjust your lens very quick or it will be flied too close/far. I guess I prefer to shoot peoples instead of birds.
131 impressed me - love the angle. I've tried many times to get a good bird shot - but only succeeded once, when a cooperative hawk was perched on a branch!
I think you did well considering what you had to work with!! Beautiful scenery and a moving object and bright sunlight. I thing 129 is the best for scenery & bird, 132 for the focus on the bird (all are good 131 is the crispest) but too dead on, 130 for comp and the bird perspective.
Agree with others...beautiful scenery there and seeing these big birds fly would be wonderful to see..#131 is free fallin/gliding through the air...I like it the best.
Looks like fun, and a challenge. I think you did pretty well... I like the first one. He's stands out against the blue sky and looks like he's heading right toward you... thanks for sharing
..and I prefer to shoot birds over people. It is a challange.
Out of all the photos I think 131 is closest. the focus is not bad , But you did have a tough time with exposer. (but then I am no pro.)
Thanks for sharing. ;)

I saw a California Condor at the Grand Canyon and all I had was a camera phone. I think you did a real good job considering the subject matter.
