Here's a composite of the full moon, and Mt. Diablo at sunset the next day.

Great job!!!  It looks like you can walk right into the shot.  Love it!!!

  • For me the moon is too strong and/or the rest is too bright.  Drop the opacicity of the moon somewhat, so it blends into the sky, sorta make it a blue moon, the way it is durning the day.  Maybe drop the brightness on the rest, give it an evening look.

  • Sorry if this sounds rude, but it looks fake.

I have to agree with pcwilson, the moon does look fake. ^^; Sorry. Try some blending techniques, like feather or blur tool, or reduce opacity as Quackers says.

Thanks all. There's been little frank criticism on this (or any other) site, and I appreciate the input. I think the duck man's suggestions are good.

I would have to agree with the group....when I first looked at it I said....to strong of a moon for the time of day...whatever it was. So the Mc-duckie has some good suggestions.

  • Good suggestions from above----am picturing the moon not there--really like the rolling hills, just wish the metal tower was not there as a distraction..
