Was wondering what the shutter speed would be?
I'm thinking 3-4 seconds. Sometimes using a small F-stop will give the star effect.

To answer the questions, I used a 4 second shutter speed with a f/8.0 aperture setting. No filters were used. These were taken with a Canon S2IS. It's not a SLR but it does give me lots of flexibility and zoom. Thanks for all the great comments.
