Ok, this is the end of the leafy editorial stuff.  And despite my obsession, I've yet to take a single picture of leaves outside this shoot.  But that's ok, the leaves are still changing here so I have a little time left.

Today's shots are brought to you by the little plastic wonder!

Thanks for looking!

  • They are nice shots. She looks like a toss between Susanna Hoffs and the chick on That 70's Show.

  • I would assume that the vinette effect was on purpose if not then the focus needs looking at for me. nbr 5 is a good take on man ray, but I would have done it in black n white.

  • The diana is a plastic camera, with a plastic lens.  Nothing is ever in sharp focus and you never know if you'll ever get anything in focus at all.  And the vingetting is also a side effect

I quite like them! In a way I find them more interesting than the shots you took with your normal cameras. 8) But then I'm not into model photography, so maybe the weird focus and lighting effects add a little extra spark for me.

  • For what you are using I really like the effect/look/pose of the last one and in the third one it seems as though she is more in the teasing/playful effect.

More fun shots!  I like the effects the camera has.  3 is my fav of the bunch.  Nice focus on her eyes and she looks like she is having fun.  :o)

2 and 4 are my pics! I like 3 but i'd rather see the leaves in focus and have her face blurred. But knowing the limitations of Diana...it probably would have been hit or miss. The last one loses it's impact with the tats blurred as I'm guessing that's what the viewer is really interested in.

interesting...I'm not familiar with the Diana...guess since I try so hard to get my macros in super sharp focus..its hard for me to accept a softer focus for this particular subject....but they are well composed and kudos for doing something different.

  • #1, is that bow on her head, whatever it distracts from the photo.

#2, I don't go for lip jewelry, but except for that, I like it.

#3, a fun and interesting shot.

#4, a nice shot, if you had the models swith their leave around, it might be more interesting.

#5, for some reason, I don't like where the hands are.  The other 'man ray' copy looked better, and not just the focus.

  • No, not a bow. Just a leaf stuck in her hair.  We goofed off quite a bit when I had the diana out.  Knowing that you don't really know what you're going to get we made those our "play" shots and tried to be more serious with the hasselblad and digital.
