White House Retreat Center

Once a year I go on a 3-day silent retreat at the White House in South St Louis County.  It is run by the Jesuits.  Fortunately, the retreat is always the 3rd weekend in October - the peak of the Fall Foliage season in St Louis.  The grounds are beautiful this time of year.   It's like God decided to give me the best light and color imaginable each year.  I leave for the retreat in two weeks.  Here are a few of my favorite shots.

 Solitude  Lawn Chair Peaceful

  • Wonderful shooting.  I like solitude for its simplicity.

  • That looks like a beautiful place from your photos.  I like the second one best because of the rich colors.

My favourite is "Peaceful". The other two need a more clearly defined focal point IMO, but they're still pretty good. ^^
