Roads of Summer

Out and about this summer, I had taken pictures along various roads; this one alongside the cemetary road  DSC00967 , walking around my neighborhood I admired the beauty of these purple flowers growing out of a crack alongside the road DSC01045 , out for a hike with my boyfriend I got these shots of the trail road ahead  DSC00929 winding around the foothills  DSC00932 and at our neighborhood/city street fair, the road was closed off to vehicles but this one found a loop hole  DSC01213 , there were so many cute dogs  Happy in the shadows trying not to get lost in the crowds DSC01238 , some had to be picked up  This adorable pug and all were enjoying sights, Beverly Hills Bakery , local art  Local art sounds and smells (or for the olfactory impared; you can follow the sausages to the vendor DSC01230 ). Further down the road we spied some Funky wood art / toys or lawn ornaments (whatever you want them to be!), Spray painted art  and I happen to think Gourd art is so fun! Although I don't know how to make it yet. Although we didn't get out much, we did have a fun summer. :)

  • A nice pictorial of your area and the street fair ... I really like the vivid colors of #1045 ... however, it could use a little top and bottom cropping ... Some of your shots are a little overexposed ... just a tad ... not sure what kinds of settings your Sony has but you might want to check it out .... keep shooting!!

  • Excellent shot of the street and roads.  I think the gourd art shot is cute, though I think it should have be cropped to the right side of the shelves.

  • Thanks for the feedback guys! I did do some photo editing to 'enhance' some colors etc., to kind of shake up the reality of it a little. I also decided that I prefered them cropped to where I had them kind of including parts of the background as it were. I almost cropped the gourd art side frame but kept a peek of the background to keep more of the 'story' to it. That was my thinking. I did make a great editing and black and white of th street with the dog but it wasn't saved and I have to go back and fix it now :( oh well. Thanks again!
