But we're moving up in class... or down. Actually, both! We're finally past headshots and this past week we had to shoot almost full body. And we got to use 3 light sources. Attempting to recreate the Avedon look (two umbrellas lighting the back a stop down from the Soft box that will light the subject). I'm not sure how I did, but I was pleased with my results.
These were shot with Ilford FP4 (35mm) and one was with Ilford Delta 100 (120) shot with the school's Hassleblad, 1/125" at f16 for all.

BTW Cory, the new slideshow editor is a little confusing when it comes to adding pictures to the slide but I love how easy it is to move the pictures in the slide and to edit the captions.

I didn't understand what you were trying to recreate either - but the lighting looked fine to me. My only criticism is that the angle of the shots in 1 and 2 distorts her legs.

I agree that adding images to a slideshow isn't that user friendly yet. I plan to improve that over time, but there are bugs in Silverlight that make it hard to improve. For example, the list of images to pick from will select the image you used last time when you open it--that is actually a Silverlight bug :-)
By the way, for those who haven't tried it, the new slideshow editor will let you use all your images in a slideshow, not just the most recent ones. That was a complant I kept getting with the old editor.
By the way part 2 - If your work doesn't let you install silverlight, you can use the old editor. Since Silverlight is a beta product from Microsoft, your company probably doesn't want to install it yet. Microsoft is pretty hush hush on when they'll release a real version, but I am betting it is sometime in the beginning of November.
