My first challenge entry!

From what I've seen of other challenge posts you're allowed to enter more than one photo, so here's my first one. The next one is still technically a road, it was just never properly surfaced. :D The last one is a path or "sidewalk" as it's called in the states, but I think that counts as a street doesn't it? ^^;

Comments? Tips? Fear? Horror? All is welcome. :P

    Thank you both for your comments. ;) I wasn't expecting that to be the most popular one! Pleasant surprise.

  • All are nice ... But I really like "my first one" ... I would like to see a little more detail in the shadows - but thats just me ...!! ... "Technical" is also a beautiful image but could also use just a tad more detail in the shadows!! ... I'm not sure about the last one - it seems to lack a strong focal point as your camera angle was quite low ... also it could have used a bit more of an angle!!

    - Out of Focus!!

    VegasStan: Thanks, yeah the shadows were a problem, particularly on the first one. In order to make sure the building wasn't a blown out white blob I had to point the camera at it, and that caused the shadows on the road to be uber underexposed. I had to use a Levels adjustment to bring them up but I didn't want to overdo it. XD I agree on the last one as well, I just thought it was quirky and so worth an entry. :>

    fishone0: Thanks!

  • Shadow can be a challenge but the building in "my first one" is not overexposed and it works for me. The shadows on the right keeps your eyes on what is mportant.
