    Everyone has mentioned the excellent use of B&W, but the tones in this image are fantastic.  Not to mention the comp and the perfect timing of the image.  Everything works together, all the elements to make a very nice photo.

    This looks more like a painting than an image out of a camera!  The tones are outstanding, and, like emf said, the timing is perfect.  The only thing I see wrong with this is it's not hanging in a gallery somewhere.
