  • The color is definitely stunning.  I wonder what it might look like with the ground cropped out (just where you can see the brown).  I think it would add more emphasis to the colors to the top and really make the few trunks pop.  Just my opinion.

I think I agree with enigmatic actually, right now it feels like I want to see the bottom of the trunks... but if you cropped the soil out it might feel more balanced. It's still a nice shot though!

  • I'm going to go with the others on cropping out the ground and just concentraiting on the tree trunks ... Why do the orange colors look a little blown out? ... A very nice image!!

Wow great colors!  I agree on the cropping.  Can't wait for our fall colors, they are just now starting to turn.  :o)

Love the color! I wasn't going to say anything but I see above about cropping. I was actually thinking the opposite and that the the shot could have been a little wider. The white birch (guessing) in the foreground seem like their trunks goes off into nowhere. I little wider and the bases of the trunk would have been shown. Either way very nice colors.

  • I like it!  Fabulos has a good point about going wider.

  • Lovely colors and I too need the ground to make this a better shot.  I'd prefer it much more vertical, emphasizing the drama of the trees themselves.
