Sorry, but this is a really odd shot. Not sure what you did to it but there's no contrast and the texture is very unnatural. Good B&W needs a solid range of real white to real black and there's just a lot of gray here.

I have to agree with smalltown, the rose lacks the tonal range to work well in B&W. Just feels flat to me. I like the picture from detail and composition, but the B&W just doesn't make it for me.
