This was definately a challenge for me. First time ever to shoot with my camera set on B&W. Not knowing anything about shooting B&W I couldn't decide between the two, lovers1 or lovers2 (sorry about their age spots-their getting old). Then there is this BigGuy . He looks darker on this site than he did when I uploaded to my files.

Liked lovers1 till I saw lovers2, and BigGuy is a wonderful shot. Most excellent.

I really like your lovers shots...nice contrast and tonal range...you can actually set your camera on b/w? Cool..the camera I use for IR is ancient and it will do b/ws.

Cool looking frogs - maybe the darkness on big guy fits with his expression?

Lovers2 does seem slightly better than the first. They're pretty good, nice work. ^^

I like 2 best, you can see the whole frog feet and most of the bench, nice compsitionally. I also like the bigguy. :o)

Thanks to all that responded. I appreciate it. I like #2 best myself mainly for the composition, like robin said. Don't know if I can get use to shooting B&W but I'm going to keep practicing at it just in case it grows on me. (There's just something about color!) Thanks again!
