I didn't shoot these specifically for this challenge, but they are very recent. Both were taken with a little point and shoot, a Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3, which turned out to be a completely unexpected surprise. It's a great take-everywhere camera with very good image quality. I took it and my D300 out over the weekend and the D300 never made it out of the camera bag.
And one from a Ricoh GX-200:
Denise...what are you doing to me? 'Fog' & 'Sfflower' are so good I think I could actually begin to like black & white! (Be strong Bruce...the world is in color...the world is in color... the world is in color...)

I really like all three and I'm not a fan of B & W!! Fog is my favorite (a little crop of some of the water off the bottom might make it a little stronger image!!) ... Well Done!!

Fog is the keeper for me.
The flower shot is good, allmost grabbing, but I miss the color.
The first is nice, did you mean to tilt the horizon?

All three are nice but the last two are my favs. The tree in "Fog" makes an interesting focal point for your composition. Really nice. And, the "Sunflower shot...beautiful composition, tone and textures. The black background makes it pop.
