Last night a cold west wind blew across the warm Lake Michigan waters. We live about 45 miles inland and when it reached us this is what we woke up to this morning.
Brrrrrrrrrr!! Don't see much of that here . . . Really like the first one, star/sun - did you use a filter for that? Better uncover that wood pile and get the fire going.
Even WE'RE supposed to have some snow tomorrow and we almost never get snow in south England! :D The first one is great, the others are pretty good too. ^^
No filter used. Shot at a fairly tight F stop - F-16 at 1/160, ISO 200. Sometimes this will give the star effect. I did change color shot to B&W and then made it a little cooler.
I was in Grand Rapids for last and loved the snow...miss it to...Amarillo gets mostly cold heavy wind...they have heartaches over 8"...and the almighty ice storms shut this place down...let's trade weather, huh...great shots and stay warm...peace
Oh my gosh, it is too early for all this cold/snow......It is supposed to get down to 18 in ET tonight.
I really like the star effect the sun is throwing off....and in #34 that sure is a long icicle...I like the shadows in the last one.

As with almost everything, I like the color shot much better (after the pink flare would be cloned out). Love that shot.
