    Beautiful pictures, I think I like the 2nd elephants and monsoon time best. These are probably the closest I'll ever get to being there so thanks for the trip!

    Dambulla is a wonderous image and all the efelumps in the river.

    Sri Lanka 4x "singing in the rain!!!" nicely done. Perhaps higher ISO for Dancers would have helped stop the motion and minimize the blurring. Nice group of photos... I'm with bearphoto... like efelumps in the river!!!

    Your shots give a nice wonderful glimpse into Sri Lanka. The first shot is very pretty with the flowers and girls on the raft. The 2nd elephant shot is my fav, nice composition. Such a contrast of coloring between monsoon and dancers. Good set.

    Thank you all for the comments. The 'monsoon' is one of my fav too, especially because I tried to get a shot of the SriLankan schollgirls (lovely in their imaculate uniforms) and those three girls looked so happy and cheeky!
