... the colors man, the colors!!!

As most of you know (or at least the ones who stop and check out my pictures), I normally take B&W. Now its not that I have anything against color, I really don't; I just really dig the detail, or feeling that you can convey with a B&W. In any case, as I mentioned before, I bought some flowers this week and decided to try my hand at photographing them. You have seen a few shots (as I said, in B&W.. can you see where this is going?), but these as some that I did in color and left in color.... so, as always let me know what you all think....

PS- if you get a chance, let mom know you appreciate everything she has done for you (it may be cheesy, but if you are like me; you can think of a half a dozen things she either helped you out with or went that extra mile for you).. so here's to you MOM.. THANKS FOR EVERYTHING...

I think you have a special talent with flowers and should shoot color more often as well! The photos are superb and being the sunflower is yellow it is one of the reasons I like it best, yellow is almost like white light it just has that radiant quality. I like the color rose that followed it, because of the light you used. They are all a very good series!

Stargazers are always great but the ultimate photo here is "Color Rose" and it really belongs on the front of a Mothers Day card! It relays sensitivity and the subtle beauty that are roses. Great shot!

All are very nice!! ... Thanks for the color!! ... I do have one little negative comment ... Your border is sometimes just a little distracting ... but that's just me ...

Flowers are colored, and so should the photographs.
Lovely shot, all were excellent. On sunflower, I would move it a tad to the left, so it isn't crowding the frame.

Love the last rose in both color and b&w. It's a stunning image. Very well composed and the lighting is very nice.
