2 weeks after we had a rain/wind/hail storm, we had another one just like it yesterday. Not really much for showing the wind but I thought I would share anyway. Also, since it will be my 3 year Photographica anniversary, I thought I would post the very first shot that I posted here. And believe it or not it would be good for this challenge and was taken in Buggin's neck of the woods. Lol, I didn't realize that I was coming up on 3 years til I looked at my profile.windsurfer_sunset Hail_1 Hail_2

  • The sunset got my vote.  You have a year on me, so I hadn't seen this shot before.  Happy Anniversary...all HAIL LOF!! (No extra charge for the bad pun!)

Hey, great!  I love the first hail shot.   I remember seeing the Canadian Hole picture before.  Love it.  The other day I counted about 75 kites out there....

    Happy Anniversary!

  • Congrats on the 3 years.  I really like that first shot.  I find the thing at the bottom distracting, but otherwise, nice image.

Congrats! Love the sunset shot.  Hail storms worry me, we had some around here this morning.  :o)

  • I really like the sunset ... if you could just crop out what appears to be a surfboard - it would make for a much stronger image!!

  • Thanks all! Hope you didn't have any storm damage Robin! It is a surf board at the bottom of the scene. It shows up better in the actual print and looks better. This is a scanned print. Also, EF, I printed this myself, and no, I didn't soup up the color it was actually this red. The original is a slide from which I made an internegative and then printed. Just a little history for our resident photog student, lol.
