    This is old news . Focus on her as a journalist would.  Capture her preparation, etc.  This is  2008! Otherwise very nice and traditional.  I am being personal, I am being modern. 0162 shows total ignorance and redundancy to the world in this modern age.

    I love the first one and the last one! I think weddings are tough. Everybody wants something different. Talk to your couple and see if there's anything they want, if they don't really know, go with your gut. Try to make every event unique in some way. I think the picture of bride and groom with the baby (whom I assume to be their child) is a great inclusion and something they'll be happy to have to remember their special day.

    I like first 3 shots the best. The last shot is cute but still looks like  sanpshot tom. the mirrior shot would have been good without the reflections lines in the picture.

    Thanks Ashton I can use your advice...... Lori as I said I am new to wedding pics..... I with my friend took over 600 shots....just wanted some usable advice!     I really like the second one with the bits of color added, especially the petals falling down! The expression on the little boys face on the first one is priceless. Good capture. I also like the ring making a heart on the opened bible <(?). Very nice effect! Some people like traditional some people don't, it's all in what the customer wants right?!

    Good job!  As long as the bride and groom are happy, thats all that matters!  In the mirror she also has a bit of red eye.  I love the ring shot and the petals falling.  The expressions of the 3 together is great.  Love the candids of the little ones.  :o)

    First shot is fantastic and I like the last shot too.  Not crazy about the petals falling on the bride--looks more like punishment than adoration.  Technically good quality but I agree with Ash about the reflection shot. 

    I hardly think it's worth slamming you for not being "modern".  I agree that the ring/heart shot has been done and re-done but you don't necessarily always get to choose your vision over a customer's.  We're not all in the "I'm being personal, I'm being modern" market.  And that's why I don't shoot weddings.  Nice effort.

    I've shot a few weddings, and am doing 2 more in the next 3 weeks.  All of the brides have been very interested in a mix of 'traditional' and ' journalistic'  shots.  I personally have never seen the ring/bible shot before, and thought it was great.

    Like Bruce, I have never seen the ring in the bible shot.  It is my favorite of the set.
