Look to the Sky

I don't know much about these guys, but I do know I enjoy photographing them.  This time around they were both being rather lazy.  But despite being lazy, he had an air about him.  Like he might be a little better than everyone else.  A little stuck up, with his nose up in the air.

Or maybe he was looking up because something got his attention.

The world may never know.

Clouded leopards are beautiful and your photos did them justice.  Usually when a cat puts its nose up and mouth slightly open it is 'tasting' the air for scents.  Maybe that's what this one is doing.

Nice set EF.  The colors of the background really helped set off the cat.  Too bad you couldn't have had just a slightly larger aperature to throw the rest of the chain link behind him totally out of focus.  I was drawn to the diamond shapes at times.  At zoos though, sometimes you've got to work with what's there.  Nice job overall.

I love these! The last is my favorite! Show them to the zoo...they might want to use them for advertising!

True bruce.  I'm not sure what ap. I was shooting at, but I know I was shooting through glass and it was cloudy so I had an ISO of 640 or 800.  Which makes me think I would have opened up to get more light... but maybe I kept it at f8 and changed the ISO instead.  I don't know.  It's a puzzler.  But I'll keep it in mind the next time I go.

And thanks Candice.  I just might.
