I could not catch the wind, I tried, But unimpaired she passed me by; Left breathless kisses on my skin, And hustled through the trees again.
I saw her briefly scan the wheat, The wheat bowed down without defeat of spirit, quick it rose once more, and stood unruffled as before.
I chased her hours without end, I saw her, but to my chagrin, she far outpaced my meger stride, And when I grasped for her, she'd hide.
Among the leaves, the woods, the glen, I chased, but could not catch the wind.

I think the poem fulfills the task. It is very nice. Did you do it, I don't see any credits so it must be your well done rhyme.
Also, the thumb, or any one of the flutterby newbie would add to the story (poem) especially 028 I believe it is, the wing unfolding ready to catch the wind.....

I thought it was a beautiful poem - and even though I don't normally read poetry - I realize that poetry can say so much more in fewer words than prose - your poetry captures a feeling which can't be explained but can be felt and recognized as something special in nature that gives witness to our infinite creator.
God Bless, Hank
