Just a few macros of dandelions and waterdrops.

Thanks for looking and have a great day

Taken with the D200 and 90mm sigma macro.  I think there was an extension tube on also, but I can't be certain

Really like the comp & sharpness of the seed thingies in the first one and the drops.  The third is also a fave for the delicate  feel of it.  Looks like you might have a dust spot on the lens, tho.  Easy to fix.  Enjoyed this set.

Yeah, I've tried everything to get that off.  I can see it through the viewfinder but I've cleaned my lenses, mirror and checked my sensor dozens of times.  I don't have photoshop at the moment so I can't clone it out myself.  But I saw it and it stares at me.  I think it's times to get a cleaning.

I love #1 & #2. Can't find anything to suggest that you do differently, all are really good. I hope that the schooling pays off and you find satisfaction in following photography as a career. These samples of your ability suggest that you will find a niche out there.

Great work and the color is fabulous!

#2 is the one I like best.

Do you manually set-up the White Balance or use automatic?

Those spots are probably on a sensor in the body.

I had spots on mine after about 2000 shots.

I cleaned inside the body and resolved it.

I just had the WB set for daylight.  I've read how to set the WB manually but haven't tried it yet.  I've found the auto settings (although I don't set it on Auto, but I do set it for it's predefined settings of daylight, cloudy, tungsten, etc.) work fine for what i shoot 90% of the time.
