Just went out to learn more about using my exposure time and aputure settings.

I have new garden lights that make a nice glow in my front garden. I decided to take some photos.

Let me know how they are. Would like to learn more on how to do night shots. This is a Nikon D40 camera, some limitations at what i can do with it.  Tri pod used also.;)

I like the first one a lot and it is the slowest one.
of the second and third, I like the third. It is amazing how much more exposure you get with an iso of 400 over 200.

Excellent, I like the first one best.  On the last two, the camera level is below the light sourse (the lamp) and it is causing some burn out.

Thank you, I like the first best too ( should have taken the sign out first though).

Yes, I realized that I could have raised the tri-pod up a bit to get rid of the light flash in the photo. the led bulb is on top of the lights and it did put too much light in the pics.   ;)
