I have my eye on you....

no, really EYE do...

look down at the eye chart,  and tell me, which is better, one or two?  Now cover your right eye and read the smallest line you can see.

wanta drive?  wear these binocular like lens over your glasses and take 30 hours of bioptic driving classes.  If you pass, you'll be on the road!  (which is scarier, me or my 16 yr old behind the wheel?)

want to curl up to read a good book with this on your lap?  me neither, so they are going to try and get me a handheld model.

It's in the government's hand now, I may be back in the workforce and on the road by next fall!

What a great photo-journal.  A friend of ours uses a "flipper port" to study with.  His problem is different, tho.  Macular degeneration.  Hope you can get some help.  How nice to know that relief is soon to come.

what's a flipper port?  the symptoms of histoplasmosis and macular degeneration are the same.  the treatments are the same as well.. Just found out a friend, 32 years old, is developing the same symptoms.  i want to cry everytime of think about her.   Looked up flipper port, thats kinda cool, virtual glasses!

I'm sharing this with a lot of people looking for similar experiences: I recently got contact lens and before, my right eye is so much worse than my left (even with correction), that my brain mostly ignored any visual input from the right. Now I can see with both eyes!!! I'm experiencing a sort of sensory overload from the matched set of eyes I have now and it's unusual, to say the least.  I hope lefteyeblind experiences what I have.  It's a whole new world with both eyes functioning.  I've begun taking photos right-eyed and there is a definite difference in the composition and balance... Almost like two different people's perspectives!

This probably isn't the venue to be discussing this but I just want to tell the world.  Any comments would be welcome to my photographica mailbox: wanzewurld here Now I'm signed in and surprise: my message didn't go away.

I hope your procedure gives you good results and keep us posted.
