Wow I am impressed that you remembered that story about the grosbeak.  I am also impressed with the beautiful birds you get.  What a variety of colors!   The paintsize is so beautiful.  We don't get them here.  I also absolutely love Indigo Buntings.  I haven't had them at my feeders in a long long time.   Great birding BSV!!  Keep 'em coming!

  • What a beautiful bird the painted is. We only have the indigos here, or at least that is all I have ever seen. Of course, lovely as he is, it took a good photograph to totally convey that, and you definitely served him well.

  • Great birding.  Love all the colors, especially in the indigo.  And the lilac bush with the butterfly is beautiful.

Gorgeous colors! I envy you; the brightest birds I see are goldfinches and bluebirds. I'm with you on having to get used to the new format.

Totally awesome!!!  I should be so lucky as to have so many birds coming to visit.  Right now I'm trying to keep these bold crows out of my vegetable garden.

    Great shots!!
