Just a Couple of Shots From This Morning

I took a little spin this morning and got these.  The first is a little country church that seats about 30 people, max.  I liked it's shake roof and steeple.  Then a few minutes later, I got the second shot...the rail fence photo with the dogwood trees in the background.

Hope you like them.

 Dogwood Rail Fence

  • Shake roof is very well done, dogwood rail, the rail takes the dominant place and I think (I could be wrong) you wanted the fence to lead the eye to the dogwood. (I probably am wrong) Nice fence though, I have always been partial to split rail.

Nope Guy, I actually wanted the split rail fence as my subject with the white dogwood blooms as my background.  If I get back that way, I'll try the shot your way, though.  What I was really looking for was a fence like this with dogwood blooms sticking through the fence near a corner post like this one...no luck on that though.  Thanks for the comment and for lookin.

  • I think you conveyed it well, making the fence stick out.  The dof is just right.  However, if you go back, put a little more fence in it.  I feel like it's a little crowded in the frame.  Maybe try a horizontal.
