Some shots from a nature trail now that the warm weather is here.

Budding Tree Limb

Blossom

Mushrooms

Thorn Creek Woods

  • I really like blossom... I just wish it had the contrast and tones that's in mushrooms.  And the woods shot has a nice sense of depth which makes it nice to look at.  Nice set.

  • First I have to say that the composition in these is very good. I agree with EMG that it is a nice set.

Then I have to say that such beauty in B&W is not a far departure from the starkness of the black and white of winter. That perhaps, along with the cold, is why I moved to Florida year round. These thoughts, of course, are merely the ravings of an old brain so may have no bearing on reality. I am just so glad that I can see things in color, or see at all anymore, that I disdain B&W most of the time.

Aside from all that hogwash, I do like the set very much.

Of course, I could be wrong, but once in a great long while I have been right.

    And I did vote.

Nice set.  I really like the textures in the mushrooms.  The blossom is beautiful.  Love the feel of the woods, like how the branches are so conformal.  :o)
