    Beats me, the lower left edge seem to have teeth like a saw or some sort, but the teeth don't go all around.  It looks like the center turns, and has some gear teeth, so I'm leaning toward Anon's opinion, transmission part.

    Whatever, the image is very clear and detailed.

    Darn, way to easy for you guys. It is indeed a water nozzle, 125 GPM Akron fire nozzle.

    Ah, I got here too late! I was going to say it was a 125 GPM Akron fire nozzle! I was! yep. (I thought it was a tire rim!)
