With Mother's Day coming up, I purchased some flowers for both mom and mom-in-law. They provided some good fodder for more pictures, and as we all know, they are black & white. So here are some shots of a rose and a sunflower; as always feedback is welcome...

    wonderful light, tones and detail in all.  I can't pick a favorite but I can pick two I like the least.  The two verticals.  Nothing wrong with them, but the other three are so much more intriguing and stronger visually that the two kinda stand out as the weakest link.

    There are so very few pictures that I really appreciate in B&W, but you could change my mind - these are really terrific, focus, contrast, everything!
