Looking back over the archives and came across these I took at Big Bend. A lot of almost good shots. I see so much that I would have done differently with the knowledge I now have. LOL

  • Some interesting history there. I like the empty shell... Is there nowhere that we can escape power poles and lines? Thanks for digging and sharing.

  • Loved big bend 6.  The comp is very nice.  And just a fun bit of information, when I was little my dad had a business trip in Texas and during his down time we drove out and around Big Bend and my brother and I became a junior rangers.  Granted this was over 10 years ago, but I still have a small photo album (of shots I took myself plus family shots) and the badges saying I was a junior ranger.  One of the pictures is me next to this huge patch of cactus is a south-west shirt, skirt, boots and hat.

  • I enjoyed these very much, Ash. Agree that #6 is the pick, but love the white tail deer also. Some of these couldn't be improved no matter how old you get!

  • Sign me on for #6 too!  Lovely shot.  Would love to see you reshoot the cemetery in Terlingua.  You've improved amazingly and could really do a lot with that.

Very nicely done. My favorite was the first cemetery shot. Must have been lovely to be there.

  • Had to go and look at your images in order to see pics, the slideshow would not open for me, there was a popup that said--Maybe no slideshow 'Effect' is undefined undefined undefined.

I like Big Bend and seeing the structure and crosses in #3
