you are starting to sound like me and buggy trails.  there is just not a lot of different things to do with rails but you seem to be making the best of it....I love the shot....very sharp details and interesting concept.

Yep, that fits with "no rails" very well. I haven't seen "bed rails"  yet. Think on it, there are really plenty of rails, or at least different settings for rails.

    Keep on keepin on...

might not be rails, but certainly is a good image. The angle is nice...such big wheels.

Very clever . . . and excellent composition - angle and color really make the photo.

Mr Q ... This shot was taken at the Clark County Museum here in Las Vegas (actually Henderson) ... Not only is it a great angle ... the angle keeps the houses in the background out of the shot!! lol ... In addition, the shot was taken to be converted into a HDR image ... which this is ...

Ralph ... The thumb was taken in Kingman AZ ... Trains go through Kingman (East & West) about every 15 minutes ... Including one Amtrack train at 2:00am ...

Yup, I see lots of metal rails in that shot, supporting many things. Nice coloring and great focus.

Oh, I remember the trains going through 'often' the one time my sister and I stayed in Kingman,

And I like your effect with the 'no rails', glad you shot it this way so the background with the bldgs did  not show.
