This is an epiphyllum, a faithful bloomer that is always a challenge to photograph.

    When I insert a photo in the "thumbnail" slot on the upload page, it won't upload or appear with my post. How am I supposed to enter a thumbnail now?

    Nice flower. It has brilliant color and is sharp all the way down.

    I am not sure how you are "inserting" the thumb. If you just click on one of the photos in the list on the right side of the page the photo will appear above that list. Then just select "position" below the list. (click one of the radio buttons) If you don't select a position the thumb won't appear.

    - So shoot already!!

    Can't help you with the thumbnail, have only tried once and was not able to do it either.

    I would say you definetly met the challenge...the middle of the bloom made me think of a whirlwind the way they seem to be 'flowing'.

    I like the red/fuchsia bloom--why do some of the bloom not have the fuchsia color...good texture in this.

    Although I love flowers I couldn't tell you one from another but I can say NICE SHOT!!

     

    On the thumbnail, If I remember right you have to upload a thumbnail image AND a normal image so you can use it in a story.  I think anyway.... I suspect size appropriate as well.
