This is one of the last great oaks on the slopes of Mt. Diablo. Hard to convey how massive and aged they are.

Still haven't managed to add a thumbnail, Cory, despite all the helpful suggestions. Maybe because I use a Mac with the Leopard OS?

    Yes, it does, about 1 mile farther and 500 feet higher. I'll see if I can post the main photo here.

    Nice oak, nice shot. I like the variety of colors, the composition, and the beautiful blue of the sky. Good choice of framing colors. 

    I'm having trouble with thumbnails too, maybe it is the Mac/Safari.

    I like the shot. I went to your images earlier to see it.

    There must be something buggy somewhere. I posted earlier (I guess it's yesterday now) with a bunch of stuff, images and a slide show along with the thumb and didn't have a bit of trouble. I'm still using Firefox and haven't tried Microsoft's excuse so I don't know how that is working. 

    - So shoot already!!

    Beautiful ... Just Beautiful!! ... Well Done!! … I really like your frame!! … But how sad it is that we are losing these magnificent trees!! … Find a place and hang this one!!
