Still here...Still not funny!

Well, after all the rain and flooding we had last week it's good to have a break.
Break in the rain

I had Jaryd yesterday and we went to meet Barb for lunch.  We grabbed a pizza and was on the way to the park to eat when I spied this old abandoned church.  It was boarded up and all the stained glass was removed.  There must be a story behind it but I don't know it.

Spirits Leaving

Unstained Glass

Last week I thought it would be funny to send a picture of me to all my kids to try and play on their sympathy before Father's day to try and maybe increase the gifts. Unfortunately, Barb came home early and caught me and now all of a sudden it's "not funny" anymore.  So, I didn't do it but which one do you think would have worked best?

Love the Barn shot I don't know how you can find so many ways to shoot one barn but its cool!! Spirits leaving and unstained are fantastic!

Sad 1 would work but Sad 2 is overplaying your hand!

  • Man, you are a total slime ball.  Almost had me feeling sorry for you.  Nope!  Ain't gonna do it.  (But technically, gorgeous portraits.)

    Love the barn.

Ditto on the barn, great shot Don.  As to Sad 1 and 2, they both got me, so tell me where to send the aid check.

  • The barn is definitely a winner.  And I think you would have gotten a lot of sympathy. Agree with smalls about technically gorgeous portraits.  The lighting is great (I think #2 would get more sympathy... the tear adds a nice touch).

  • OMG, you are truly incorrigible! Spirits is a marvelous and unique image, with all three arches pointing heavenward. The emptiness is poignant. Would love to know the story of the church.

Agree with the rest.  The "tear" in the second is definately a "tear jerker".  I really like the barn best overall, tho.  Wonderful comp. & angle.

The barn for me as well. It has nice color throughout. Too funny in regards to the Father's Day Pictures.
