Beauty Awakened

After I got married in March, I moved my blooming Orchard to my new home. It did not like that I moved it while in bloom and ALL the blooms withered up and died. I was so upset! About a month ago, I noticed that another shoot appeared from one of the old dead ones, and sure enough it gave me another set! After all this time, yesterday when I got home from work one of the pods opened! #1 #2 I gave it some yummy rain water that I collected from a rain storm we finally got. It seemed to have appreciated it, because when I got home from a meeting last night, it had opened some more #3 #4 #5. I couldn't wait this am to see how much more it had opened. As you can see#6 #7  I was very happy! I love watching this beautiful creations grow!

Looks like your baby forgave you for moving.  I love those guys...so strong yet so fragile.  Just like life!!!  The last two shots look like it is smiling.  I love the shots and I am glad your orchid is happy again!

I agree with Candice.  Also the last are very pretty but the sky is overexposed.

Very pretty orchid.  Candice is right.  A tripod and longer exposure would be better.  Envy your ability to get it to bloom.  I've always thought it would be too hard.  You did good.
