I'm gonna be honest, I don't like the effect. I think it makes the shot flat. Just my opinion on the effect. The comp. is very nice, though.

Weighing in with EF on this - I like the composition, but think it is a little too monochromatic to do it justice.

I like the shot (I think I've seen it before, liked it then) and the photo filter could work...for me if you used less strength on the color of the filter.

Love the image. I probably would have liked the effect, but I saw the color version and it was something beyond improvement. You need to be careful about inviting Smalls to bite you...she would probably enjoy that.

It is a great shot of the bicycle ... But I'm going to go with several others and say that the effect is not my favorite style - It seems just a tad to strong ...
