    #1 is for a garden hose.

    #1 - some part of a reel-to-reel projector 

    #2 - back of a radiator or something to do with a murphy bed

    #3 is a doggy radar dish you get from the vet.

     

    #4 is muffler pipe. 

    #6 could also be a grill  for fluorescent lights.  That or it is the case to my hypothetical #1

    1 -xray machine

    2 - old pump water well 

    3 -  bug collector

    4 -vacuum cleaner pipe

    5 -  meat slicer

    6 -  velcro

    1. an old slide projector.

    2.  yep, water pumper

    3. alien space helmet found on the last space walk as it was floating by. 

    4. Bullet exiting the muzzle of a rifle, yesss.

    5. the space ship that the alien who lost his space helmet was flying. Or a floor buffer or waxer.

    6.  The exhaust nozzle of the alien space ship that the alien was cleaning prior to loosing his helmet. Or maybe it's a cover for a loudspeaker.

    interesting ideas!

    1.  erika was the only one to guess correctly answer 1
     2.  several of you guessed this one correctly  answer 2

    (my husband bought it at a garage sale for $5.00, and put it by my pond, I wish i could run the hose up so the water comes out, but the pond pump isn't strong enough)

    3.  cory wins the prize for  answer 3,  yes its a doggy collar

    4, and 5 hint  they started out in our garage and have since taken up residence in our bedroom and our oldest son's bedroom

    6.  there is one in every bedroom in our home and one in the dining room. 

    though i love The Old Guys ideas on the last 3!

    #4 I was going to guess a shower cutrain rod, but it don't follow the hint.

    #6, speaker on a telephone.

    (Where are all these space aliens?  I ain't seen Orbit for quite a while!)

    you are SO funny, TOG!  no aliens, really, but since i'm about to go into the unknown 2nd page, i'll give an another hint:  4 and 5, when you use them, they are generally in your grasp, if you leave it lying on the floor, it doesn't move very well, and I usually end up stubbing my toe. 

    and 6 is a vent, to what????   I'll try and get a pic of another view

    Could it be that erika has it right? Is #5 the weight on a bar bell?

    And I have two more choices on #4; It might be the bar for the bar bell, or could it be a ring sizer? Doesn't seem tapered though.

    erika is indeed correct answer 5 is a hand weight

    which leads to you TOG, I think you're close enough for #4,

    and answer 6 seems too hard, so Ill just give it up, tv vents.
