Visiting With Toad

I have a little toad living in my garden.  I have seen him probably a dozen times now, but finally got a picture of him this weekend.  After all, he is a little jumpy.  The first time I saw him, I almost stepped on him while shooting a flower.  Now every once in awhile when I am out looking at my flowers, he just shows up and sticks around for awhile.

Great shots of a big toad, love the texture you captured.  We have lots of tiny little frogs, nothing like him.  Love the thumb also, great angle and color.  :o)

Agree, you have shown great texture of the frog--(hope you don't handle the things, just in case there is something to the old saying about getting 'warts' if you play with frogs  (ha ha)

I like how in the second one the frog appears to have the stem in its mouth.

What a good contrast with the red and white daisy..
