It was a little bit less like walking on the sun (last week) out there...so I got up early and went to the zoo...Even early I could tell it wasn't going to be easy to find any one moving! But I since I was there...

The fossa was bad this week. He caught a skunk and dragged into he's cage to eat. Needless to say, this put him on the short list of bad actors.
This Micro Markor was a total surprise coming almost a month after his siblings...and there are only 2 females! And 3 baby Markor...

I want to go to a zoo - but I'd have to drive to Albuquerque or Colorado Springs, and with gas at $4.09 right now (filled my pickup up yesterday for $90.00!!). Guess I'll have to be content with donkeys and dogs for a while.
It seems odd to me that a prong horn iis in a zoo. They're all over the place here. But I don't have a great shot of one like you got!

I just got gas on Tuesday for $3.98 in New Hampshire. It averages $4.27 here in Connecticut.
I hope you didn't have to clean the skunked cage!! Neat shot. And I really like "do you mind!". They are all well done but some expressions... priceless.

Nothing of the skunk remained but tail and stench...and blood...even that was all cleaned up when I got there! They are are the top predator on Madagasar...I just wish I was in a bubble an watching the catch it...an drag it into his cage - small link the chain about the size of a quater.
