Old School Right Tin Blues (What the Heck)

Some of these photos are from my lunchtime walk today in Chelsea, Manhattan, NY. Howie and I walked south from 35^th Street along 7^th Avenue to 18^th Street and back uptown on 6^th Avenue. A couple are from my recent vacation in Barcelona, Spain.

When I got back to my cubicle, after my lunch time walk, I looked at my first couple of stories posted on Photographica back in Jan, 2006. I remember not being able to sleep after posting the first few stories, worrying that no one would comment or no one would like my photos or writin style. I read a couple of my old stories and realized how much fun it was back then.

So here we go, coming at you from the old school, talkin blues, in the style of 2006.

People talkin behind my back, gossip is I've been just Sliding By.

They scream "You're Chained."

Shouting I'm just a Caricature of my former self.

I don't bother replyin, Why waste Wisdom.

All I need is Inspiration, don't want flack.

I'm crazy about Chained and Wisdom is marvelous. And I remember when you first posted--it was fun back then. You've been an inspiration in myriad ways all that time.

AHH, I remember my own 'first post worries.'
Wonderful shots. While I like wisdom, I wish the girl was futher into the frame.

The Old Guy - Back in 06 you would be "The Young Guy" and we would be saying I wish we were here in 04.
Come 2010 we'll be saying, I wish I was there in 08.

I miss your lunch time shots! You bring NY to me, a place I probably will never be able to visit. I love chained, great subject, love the comp. Wisdom is so cute, with both of them having their hands on their hips. Neat angle in inspiration, made me a bit dizzy, with it being a bit crooked, but I like it. Nice sky in it too. Hope you post more often. :o)
