Thank You Candice For The Inspiration

By Penny written 6/8/08 5:08 PM, published 6/8/08 5:09 PM

I have not even been inspired in quite some time.  After seeing Candices previous post I was inspired!   Finally.   She got me itching to play with my new macro lens that I really haven't used very much.  Another bonus the rain finally stopped!

Well here is what I came up with:

Elegant

Ruffled

Fuzzy

Spotted

Jagged

Peaceful

Divided

Twisted

Here is a shot of The Beauty

All the different angle/aspect from one Beauty...you have done Candice justice.  Jagged and Peaceful are the ones I like best of these.  In Fuzzy, it is that to me, maybe not as good a macro as all of the others, but much, much better that what I could ever do.

    Keep it up!

Look what you did, Candice, our resident stalker has now gone to the macro world. And very nicely too. Good work Penny. Hard to pick one over the others. each has a story to tell even as your descriptive title say. Love the drops.

    - So shoot already!!

Wow very good!  This is an entire exhibition by itself, I can picture it all hanging on a wall with the last one large and in the middle!   Great work.

Don't you wish you'd gotten that lens out more?  These are beautiful.  Love the focal point in Elegant and the drop on the edge of jagged.  Good for Candice for the great inspiration.

    - togetherness.....

Wow!!!  You did a wonderful job, Penny. I think Candice would agree that you learned very well.
You have a beautiful subject to work with.  Keep up the good work.

Penny,You put me to shame! Fantastic set...great color,DOF,and a whole lot of talent!

Very nice work, Penny. I would only say that those that work for me are the ones that have a definite sense of a focal point (elegant, spotted--both gorgeous), those that don't have missed that (ruffled and fuzzy). It isn't easy being Candice, but you are on your way. I don't have a macro, but I do know they are hard to master.

    - learning never ends

You are on a roll girl. Lovely shots. Each so different, except for the coloring I would've thought they were different subjects.
