here's some more for the challenge. I took a short walk and found these hiding trees . also some fallen trees .
magnolia buds are pretty, even if not fully blooming. the leaves always look plastic to me.
not for the challenge, but here's a grapes update . they're looking better but not quite ripe yet.

Your camera seems to be casting a little bit of a blue tint to some of these shots (grapes update in particular).
If you really want to make photos like these stand out, you should get a tripod, or failing that, get a mini tripod that can put on rocks or logs. I've got a little plastic tripod I use all the time. I can prop it up on a rock. Because they can be small, you might bump them when you take a shot. What I do to compensate is to use the camera's self timer and put it on 5 (or 2) seconds. The self timer will give just enough time to get your hands off the camera and the vibration to stop.

Cory, I never would have thought to use the self timer for this. Thanks for the suggestion.

Great shooting! I guess I'm not that critical, but I will take a bottle when they're ready! :)

Here is a real secret. There is usualy a self timer on your cell phone camera as well. Ghetto as it may seem, I've managed to take a non blurry shot at night using my cell phone. Just put the timer on (and for gods sake, find out how to shut up it's countdown noises) and steady the lens somehow on a rock or your leg before you take a shot.
