As I was uploading these shots I was watching my Orioles at my feeder. Until this year I had never seen the whole oriole family at my feeder at one time. I had the male & female and three juveniles on it at one time. I couldn't get my camera quick enough to get a shot....dang it.... But here are some shots of a baby on the feeder. It was funny watching them come to the feeder for the first time. They weren't quite sure how it worked. 1 2 3 4
These shots were taken the same day as the oriole shots. 5 6 7 8
Now this shot I know is not great by any means but I thought it was funny. This little guy was sooooo tiny and it just looked funny to me. So here it is....

Excellent! The Orioles' feet look blue.. Are they really that color, or is it the light? We don't get them here! The bug shots are great-makes me want to do macro, if only I had the patience!
I like the little guy, too! Getting that one and a large one together would be something! :)

I love #4. Beautiful shot and such a pretty bird. Don't think we get them here either but I'm not sure. Technically, the fly shots are gorgeous. But I really just want to whack him.

Nice bird shots, fav is #4 followed closely by #3. Your macro shots are so sharp with great color and contrasts. Gotta get back to playing with my macro lens.

I am not sure why the feet are that color. The color of the juveniles is different from the adults. Not to mention they look scruffy still not slick looking feathers. The females are very faded looking. Much to my surprise I found out that there is one more little one. A male. The males colors are so vibrant. I am trying to get a shot of one of them. But holy cow right now I am spending a lot of time making food for them. Keeping up with the whole family is crazy. Then the occassional humming bird. Not to mention those dang bees getting in and drowning....
