Have been wanting to acquire a macro lens for my Canon XTi but just couldn't scrape up the $. I was rummaging thru some of my film paraphanalia when I ran across a  +10  Macro  attachment. Attached  and it worked OK.

I  used a thread adapter (58mm to 55mm)

  • Well I think this is beautiful...really pretty...wish I could rummage and find such a gem. Bravo, well done!

Beautiful!  You don't have to have a macro lens to do all macro shots.  I have actually used me 300mm for some of my close shots.  It all depends on how you shoot your subject.

  • That's pretty good for a screw on lens attachment! Has to be a  good lens, I bought some cheepo's and the image quality on a scale of 1 to 10 was -12. I then got tubes and am very happy with them. See my entry on Lola's feathers. I did them with a 20+ tube on my 55mm lens.

Nice job on the flower. Very well done.
