I've been doing some driving in my neighborhood and took some photos that will work for the challenge and some that I thought were just fun. (My husband was not impressed when the neighbor called and asked why I was lying in the ditch...oh well.)

Love 'Flower 1' and 'The barn'. Very nice.

LOL Photographeres are so misunderstood!! Wait tell you get the authorities called on your for taking pictures of histroical bridges!!
Flower1 is awesome love the comp and the post work as well sharp focus on subject!!
Flower 2 also well done. but was thinking that before flattening the image if you used the history brush to make just one of the flower pop out it would be even better then it already is.
Flower 3 I love the treatement but the background is a tad to bright I think darkening just a touch.
Flower 4 wonderful wouldnt change it at all. that being said bet it would also look really cool in B&W!!
The Barn I Love it!! wonderful post work!!
The view at the end you and God do good work!!
Really great shooting and post processing!!

Flower 2 is perfect to me as is. And the bee closeup is terrific - sharp focus in the face of stinging danger!! It's pretty funny what we photographers will do to get a certain shot . . . .

Ha ha welcome to the crazy club!! My neighbors think I am crazy! Out running around in my PJs with the camera. It's okay they will get used to it. You will be known as the crazy lady with the camera. Oh heck most of the little kids in my family think I have Nikon written on my head with one big huge eye. They only see me with a camera in front of my face.
I think Ash covered everything I was going to say!!

Have to agree with Ashton, this time. Also, love the bee. If you could lighten the bee a tad and darken the background, might be better, but it's good this way, too. Well done.

Wow...thanks for the great feedback. I have to admit, I'm totally new to the Photoshop game and what I know is completely self taught. Having said that, I will need to do some looking at some tutorials/books to get some help using the healing brush. I'll post it when I get it figured out. As for Flower 4, I changed it to black and white. Let me know what you think.

after a while the neighbors get used to seeing you doing silly things...now they just ignore me and hope I'll go away! Nice post, the barn is the standout here.

What a terrific post! The petals in 4 almost seem translucent!

The barn shot is my pick. I'd like to see it in a sepia finish.

The lighting and perspective of Flower 1 knocked me out. Great job.

Funny how almost everyone has a different favorite. Mine is flower 2...The composition, colors, dof and soft focus effect really catch my eye.

Spouses and neighbors, they just don't understand us.
Love those in your face flowers, the bee was my favorite.

Wouldn't it be really weird for some people to see if several photographers were on a 'field trip' and each one lying down, scrunching, whatever position needed to get the 'one' shot you have been trying to achieve ..
I like #4 better in color, the b/w to me does not work well with this one...Ash has some really good advice.....
LIke the color and angle in the first one.

Welcome! I really like the post work in barn and that reworked flower in b&w is a doozy. I liked it compositionally the best out of the group, but in B&W it's stellar!

Welcome! I am thankful I don't have any close neighbors. Love the angle and colors in the first shot. The barn should be hung. :o)
